Day 7

day 7- a picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you

This is Wallace Gregory Conyers.
Mr. C.

I met Mr. C when I was in the 6th grade. He needed help with yardwork, so a friend and I would do his lawn once a week. Later, my brother and I began doing the work together. We grew really close to Mr. C.
Mr. C was diagnosed with lung cancer, and had part of one lung removed. He was on an oxygen machine and needed the help of my brother and I more than ever. We did a lot to help him out, and we didn't mind helping him. He always was smiling and was such fun to be around. He would tell us all kinds of stories, and he was just a joy to be around; we would spend hours of our day with him.
He often told us stories of his high school sweetheart, an Italian girl, Jeanne. Oh, how he loved to talk about Jeanne! Walking home from his house one night, my brother and I decided to try to get in contact with her. We wrote to her old college, and they gave us her address and married name. We used those to find her phone number. We called her that night, (it was around 10:00 at night), and explained the situation. We then ran to Mr. C's house and gave him the phone number, and told him to call it, leaving with no further explanation.
Jeanne and Mr. C had uncannily similar lives. They both moved to the same areas of New York in the same year. Jeanne moved to Tennessee the same year Mr. C moved to Florida. Jeanne and her husband got divorced the same year Mr. C's wife passed away. And the same time of the "reunion", one of Jeanne's sons was moving to our town, Jacksonville. I'm not even making this stuff up; it was like a living Nicholas Sparks novel. (Coincidentally, the first time I talked with Jeanne, she said the EXACT same thing!)
They started talking on the phone, writing letters to each other, etc. Mr. C would send Jeanne flowers and it was all very sweet. Finally, she came down to Jacksonville in the Spring Break of 2010, after a couple of failed attempts, and stayed with her son in Jax Beach. My brother, Mr. C, and I stayed at a hotel nearby. We let Jeanne and Mr. C spend their time together, and it was amazing. They were still very much in love, and were romantic to each other, and it was like a fairy tale ending. Unfortunately, the week passes and Jeanne had to leave. But they continued to talk after that, until Mr. C unexpectedly passed away in August.

Mr. C was the most amazing man I ever met. He was a retired teacher, an ex-Marine, and track coach. He was such an amazing track coach that people would fly him to their homes to train their daughters. He was extremely funny, always had a smile, and was proud of his Irish heritage.

Mr. C was the most amazing man I have ever met, and shall always be.
I love you Mr. C.

Day 6

day 6- favorite super hero and why

My favorite superhero..... Out of all the superheroes in the world, I must say that my favorite is...
Batman is just pretty much amazing. To me, Spiderman was always a little bit "wimpy", and Superman was overrated. None of the other superheroes in the realm of heroism never really impressed me much. But Batman was the dude. He didn't receive superpowers in any other-worldly way, he made himself a superhero. He worked himself physically and intellectually to gain his amazing crime-fighting abilities, rather than getting them by chance or being born with them. That's pretty amazing. And he has such cool gadgets and toys. All of this pretty much has me sold. Batman owns.

A Snowy Christmas.

Okay, so maybe it didn't look like this...

Two days ago, I experienced a miracle.

A true miracle.

It snowed in Florida.

It was the day after Christmas, and I woke up to walk the dogs. I walked outside, and I noticed all this white stuff on my black jacket. I was very confused, and I started looking around, and I saw all this white stuff swirling around in the air! It was snow flurries! It was very exciting.

But tomorrow, I will be on my very first plane ride, to go to Pennsylvania!
To this location, to be precise.

I'm going to stay with my cousins for about a week and help them out some and just enjoy the break. It's going to be very cold, (something I am NOT fond of!), but I'll manage. Be expecting tons of pictures!

Day 4

day 4- a habit that you wish you didn’t have

A habit I wish I didn't have....There are a few of those. I wish I didn't bite my nails so much, because I hate short nails. I hate that I chew my tongue when I'm nervous. I hate how insecure I can be, but the habit I really wish I didn't have was being so harsh on myself. I tend to be really critical and hard on myself, even with the smallest mistake. I really hate it. I really wish I wasn't, and I'm trying to work on it, but it's a habit I really wish I didn't have in the first place.

Day 3

day 3- a picture of you and your friends

"Friendship is the only cement that will ever hold the world together"
- Woodrow Wilson
Aya. My bestie. My Soul Sister. My Lost Girl. We've been together for almost 4 years, and we have had the best of adventures. Slinging coffee cups at each other, getting locked in stairwells, cinnamon in the hair....I love this girl to death.

Ella! My "little sis". So brilliant and fun, I love how we can talk science, history, politics, religion...everything. Science tattoos. <3 And our many youtube videos! Roxies, ninjas, strange bedfellows! Love you Els.

Tayyyyyy. My other strange bedfellow and Roxies girl! She's so beautiful and confident and so focused on her future, she's so inspiring. And although you are my sworn enemy, Capulet, I love you.

Wren! My Jamaican baby! We've been best friends since 3rd grade. We have so much fun together and are completely crazy and retarded when together. I love this girl x100000000!

Gabriel! Mi mejor amigo! We've been friends for forever, ever since he moved to the US from Puerto Rico. We've been through everything together. Such a talented artist and musician, and just an admirable person overall.

Hamoody, the little bro. One of the funniest people I've ever known. He is completely idiotic and always knows what to say when I'm feeling down. He's a pretty awesome kid.

And then this guy. Daniel Ned Krilich. The sweetest guy you'll ever find. He makes me feel so loved and like the most special girl alive. We have so much fun together and I can be completely open and honest with him. And he is incredibly smart, and we can have the best conversations. The Betelgeuse to my Bellatrix, the Clyde to my Bonnie.

These are just few of my many amazing friends. My friends are the greatest, I love them all so much. <3

Day 2

day 2- the meaning behind you blog name

There is not one particular meaning behind my blog name, 3...2...1... has several different meanings behind it.

3...2...1... is a countdown to something, the start of something, and was the countdown to the start of a new era in my life, as well as to the start of my blog. It is also the last numbers in a countdown to rocket and shuttle launches. I love launches, and are definitely something to see if one has never seen them. 321 are the digits to the area code of the place I will soon be living and working in. It is the area code for Melbourne, Cocoa Beach, Titusville, and of course, of my favorite place, Kennedy Space Center. 3...2...1... holds several meanings to me, and only seems fitting as the name of my blog.

Christmas Eve!

Wow. I can't believe it's already here! Christmas is upon us!

Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday. I love the merriment of the season. I love the lights, the music, the gift-giving, and the happiness involved.
Lately, I've been seeing a lot of cars decorated for Christmas around town! It's so nice, and it always reminds me of how happy the season makes me.

And the gift-giving is the best part of Christmas. Although receiving gifts is nice, I just love shopping for friends and trying to find the best surprises for them, and then seeing how they react. I can't help but feed off the energy.
So, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas! I hope it is filled with all the joy and merriment this time of year has to offer.

Taking the Plunge

Hello everyone. My name is Chelsea Partridge. And this is my first step into the world of blogging. I'm pretty excited about this, as starting a blog has been something I've been wanting to do for over a year. Unfortunately, the opportunity never really arose until now. My purpose in writing this blog is to have an expressive outlet for myself, and be read and enjoyed by others.  So without further a due,  this is 3..2..1... . Welcome.
