My Thoughts On... [First Physics Test]

Sorry I haven't been on lately! Between school, work, home, and other things, I have been extremely busy.

One of the biggest concerns I have is my first physics test in my Physics I with Calculus class.
Okay, so maybe it isn't this bad, but it sums up how I feel!

I have the tendency to kinda "panic" before tests, and my confidence tends to waver like a candle in the wind. It's not a very good habit, and I really need to get through this anxiety, but I don't really know how. No amount of studying really helps, it just happens before most math/science-y tests. I don't really know why that it either, because I am a math and science person. I work as a math tutor, and am an engineering major, so this is a habit that should be broken ASAP! Maybe it's a fear of failing in what I've decided to dedicate my life to? I'm really not sure. Maybe I'm some sort of glutton for punishment. Whatever it is, I would like to get to the bottom of this issue, so I can feel more prepared and confident when it comes to testing. Does anyone else have these problems or ideas to help fix them?

My Thoughts On...[Heels]

Ever since I was a kid, I lacked the feminine capability of walking in heels. Any sort of heel. I would always try, but my "walking" was literally laughable; I looked unsteady and ready to fall over at any moment! I hate to admit it, but even now that I'm older, I still have trouble walking in heels. It sucks, because I absolutely love heels and would wear them often if I could. To me, they are totally sexy and are one of the best accessories a woman can have.

Day 12

day 12- how you found out about blogger and why you have one

I initially found out about blogger about a year ago, when I had first became interested in starting a blog. I had searched & looked at several different websites, but I didn't settle on any and did not start on a blog at the time. I did start reading and following blogs, such as On the Brink of Something Beautiful, written by my dear friend, Kellie. When I was finally ready to start my own blog, using blogger just made sense. I love blogging, and I'm very glad to have made a blogger account.

Day 11

day 11- another picture of you and your friends

"May there always be work for your hands to do, may your purse always hold a coin or two. May the sun always shine on your windowpane, may a rainbow be certain to follow each rain. May the hand of a friend always be near you, may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you."
- Irish Blessing

Axel! Axel is the smartest person I've ever met. He's crazy smart; his brilliance absolutely astounds me. He loves physics and math as much, if not more than I, and he's just a fun guy to hang around.

Cia! :D Best roommate a girl could ask for. Singing disney songs, exploring UCF, movies on Sundays, hugging Chuckee at Chuck-e-Cheese, Party City!!, streamers, silly string, ninjas & gangs; this girl rocks. Puts up with my crazy plans and my nacho-eating for breakfast. Truly awesome girl.

Brooooooke!!! This One! My better half!! Worked together at KSC's Prototype Lab last summer, and she made interning just that much better. Dancing to "Imma Be" in the morning, crazy faces when frustrated, riding bikes & trying to jump curbs, climbing 60 year old escape tunnels & launch pads, trying on astronaut suits and wanting to run away in them, hiding safety goggles, getting stuck on nature trails....we had so many "adventures".
...Three Mississippi........FOUR!!!

Smalls! This is my girl Kellie. She's pretty much one of the most rad-tastic people. She runs an amazing blog at Kellie is such a sweetheart, and is one of the most caring people I've met. She has a heart of gold and is always willing to listen when you need to talk.

I spent a portion of my break in Northwest Pennsylvania, in the Cochranton/Erie area with my cousins. It was extremely pretty and beautiful. I took tons of pictures while I was there, but these are my favorites from the trip.

View from basement apartment.

Peeking out of the snow.

Frozen Lake Erie, looking towards town.
The beach at Erie.
Lake Erie; snow piled on frozen waves.

My brother, Dakota, and I, on the waves.

Snow pile.
Frozen waves, thawed lake.
Such a gorgeous site.
Long road home.

My cousins' house.

Animal tracks on the hillside.

View from the top of the hill.

View from the top.

After the snow melted.

Amish horse and carriage.

Flight home.
