Seeing Daniel Again!

Seeing Daniel again was amazing. He is back in town for 2 weeks, and I am so happy and excited that he's back. I had a good time in Missouri, although it was really cold! Below are some pictures from our time together there.

3 Days!

3 days!
3 days!
3 DAYS!!!

In 3 days, I finally get to see Daniel again! I am going on a roadtrip to Missouri to go see him again, and I am so very excited. It's been 3 months since I saw him last, and these past few months, we've only been able to communicate through letters and occasional phone calls. Being able to see his face and hold his hand and just be in his arms again is going to be such a blessing.

I. Am. So. Excited!

If you've ever been away from a loved one, you know the excitement when you finally get to be with them again, and I'm feeling that immense excitement as we speak. I could bounce off the walls!!

I'll see you soon, my love.

And now, exhale.

I can finally breathe!!!!
I have officially finished my first semester at UNF, and I'm so stoked about it. My last final, in ordinary differential equations, was this morning, and I'm so glad that the semester is over with. I wish I had an ultimate countdown for how many semesters I have left, but that all depends on pacing and what classes are offered when and whatnot.

Or in my case, I can blog again!

Random Picture Post

I have decided to start a new "series", I guess you can call it, of random pictures and the stories behind them. Kicking off the random picture posts is the below image:

This is a picture of Daniel and I, taken when I graduated with my AA degree from Florida State College at Jacksonville. I was very tired in this picture; my high school grad bash was the night before my college graduation, so I had about a 5 hour window from the time I returned from grad bash to the time my graduation ceremony for the college started. I graduated with high honors, and after the ceremony, my parents were taking tons of pictures of me. I didn't notice this one until months after they had been taken, but someone was giving me bunny ears! (The mischievous face should have revealed all.)

It's all water under the truss now...

As of today, I have survived my first engineering class!

I took my final in statics today, but won't find out my final grade for a while. For those of you that don't know, statics is pretty much the study of structures, of things that should not move.

Like this truss bridge.
It's been a fun class, I really enjoy the subject material that was taught. Now, I have to survive the rest of my finals, (calculus III, ordinary differential equations, and chemistry), and I will have made it through my first semester at UNF. Woo!
